Sayulita
Airport: Puerto Vallarta, Mexico (PVR)

We do not recommend
renting a car;
you can get around anywhere in Sayulita by foot
or golf cart.
‼️Important‼️
Do NOT drink the water in Sayulita.
ONLY drink bottled water, even when brushing teeth.
Avoid getting water in your mouth/ nose when showering.
Avoid street food & take Pepto Bismol before eating/drinking
to avoid getting sick.
Use hand sanitizer frequently.
Don't forget to pack:
Pepto Bismol (they do not have it in town!)
Immodium
Sunscreen
Cash (to exchange
for Pesos)
Reminder: Don’t flush TP down the toilet in Mexico. There’s usually a waste bin next to the toilet for that :)
The main beach is very crowded & dirtier than other beaches. We recommend the beaches on the North side + Playa De Los Muertos.
ATMs & Credit Cards
There are ATMs scattered around
town, but the best
(and safest) ATM is inside Intercam Banco, opposite from the police station. Click to see a map:
Most boutiques & restaurants accept credit/debit cards,
just make sure to check your bank's
foreign transaction fee.
